Are you wanting to enhance the SEO for your website?
If you want to improve your site ranking and page indexing, we recommend putting unique titles on all of your IMAGE pages and adding unique keywords in the caption field.
-You can start today, by going to your MEDIA LIBRARY.
-Start by clicking the 3-line list-view icon in the upper right corner of the pop-up window.
(This will show you the current "Title" and "Caption" text for all of your image pages in a list-view window setting and makes it easier for you to manage the text for each image as you edit them.)
-Now double-click each image one-at-a-time to edit the "TITLE" fields.
-We recommend that you make your image Titles unique to the image in sentence-form, with 55 characters or so. You can of course include your name and type of Photography, but try to also add something specifically unique for that image and make that the first word(s) to appear in the Title field for the image.
Doing so will allow Google to see and index the Title of that image which also gives insight to the customer/visitor, and helps them understand what they are going to see when they click that Title from the Google Search Results page.
**Note: Changing the titles will not change the url/website address. Just the browser tab Page titles.
-The Title field in PhotoFolio websites is also considered "Alt Text" by search engines and we send that to Google when they come and scan your pages to index them.
If you need ideas on how to keyword your Titles, you can use this resource, to build/add appropriate titles for your images depending on what your image subject is: https://moz.com/learn/seo/alt-text
(No need to include the specific "alt text" from that resource. Type your Titles in plain-text in your own PhotoFolio account)
-Click "DONE" to save your changes for each IMAGE and go back to the "list-view" window.
-Once you have completed this for every image on your website, then we recommend going to your ACCOUNT>SEO setting panel
-Make sure the Global Browser Title slider button setting is set to "OFF"
-Then turn the Advanced SEO slider button setting to "ON"
Now you just need to submit your Sitemap to Google's Webmaster or Search Console to prompt Google to come and index your new content.
