If you’re looking to adjust your settings for viewing a single image at a time—often referred to as Lightbox View, Expanded View, or Single Image View—you’re in the right place. In PhotoFolio, you can customize this through the Image and Video settings. To fine-tune your thumbnail or grid view options, check out this guide: Thumbnail Settings.
Here is an overview of each Transition Type setting:
Fade – The image smoothly fades in and out as you transition between images, creating a soft, seamless effect.
Vertical Slide – Images slide up or down to reveal the next one, mimicking a scrolling effect in a vertical direction.
Horizontal Slide (Side Reveal) – The next image slides in from the side while partially revealing the previous image, adding a layered effect.
Horizontal Slide – Each image transitions by sliding fully from left to right (or vice versa) in a smooth motion.
Horizontal Scroll – Similar to a filmstrip, images scroll continuously in a horizontal direction rather than snapping between frames.
Grid Slide – A dynamic effect where images transition in as if there are viewed as zoomed in thumbnails.
