If you use Google for @your-domain.com email address (e.g. info@your-domain.com)
Or, if you do not use a custom email address (e.g. info@gmail.com or info@icloud.com)
When you are ready to point your domain to our servers, there are 3 steps:
- Contact PhotoFolio Support: support@photofolio.com and tell them what domain you will be using for your website (e.g. robhaggart.com).
- Tell support you are are using our nameservers and need mx records setup for email (tell them who provides your email so they can lookup the mx records). Do not complete the next step until you hear back from support.
- Visit the place where you bought your domain name and either log into the account and change the NS (name servers) yourself or contact customer support and ask them to change them for you. Here’s what they need to be changed to:
ns1.photofolio.io
ns2.photofolio.io
Note: It can take 24 hours for the new site to be visible around the globe because the internet will have your old website location cached.
