Before you point your domain to our servers you will want to make sure you’ve moved your blog contents to the new location and removed any files you may want to keep. You need to do this because once you point the domain to us your old site and server may become inaccessible. If you need to move your blog
If you are ready to point your domain to our servers there are 3 steps:
- Contact PhotoFolio Support: support@photofolio.io and tell them the domain you will be using with your site (e.g. robhaggart.com).
- Tell support you are are using our nameservers and need mx records setup for email (tell them who provides your email so they can lookup the mx records). Do not complete the next step until you hear back from support.
- Visit the place where you bought your domain name and either log into the account and change the DNS (domain name servers) yourself or contact customer support and ask them to change them for you. Here’s what they need to be changed to:
ns1.photofolio.io
ns2.photofolio.io

Note: It can take 24 hours for the new site to be visible around the globe because the internet will have your old website location cached. If you are using your own email provider you are done.
